Building Bridges

This is my first drawing using a tablet. Let me tell ya, the experience was most amazing. I had no idea I could draw like that. I used some basic shading techniques I picked up here on the many hours I've spent looking at art on dA. MOST of that art being pony fan art.

This is a part of a community art project put on by 12 AM Design. He calls it an "interactive digital mural". He set up his laptop and tablet in a fishbowl styled meeting room with a projector for the First Friday Art Tour that local businesses in the downtown area of my town take part in. The theme was architecture. People in the common area were able to peek in and watch art in the making through the windows.

I did not draw the pillars. They are a part of a template I guess you could say.

I am not sure what kind of tablet it was, but the guy said it costs around $400.
UPDATE: It was a Wacom Intuos 4.
